Insectivores of Kastamonu province (Mammalia: Insectivora)

Abstract

Bu çalışma, 1999 ve 1993 yaz mevsiminde Kastamonu ilinden toplanan 3 cinse ait 29 böcekçil örneğine dayanmaktadır. Araştırma alanında Erinaceus concolor, Crocidura suaveolens, Crocidura leucodon ve Talpa europaea'nm yaşadığı tespit edilmiş ve türlerin diagnostik özellikleri, habitat, kürk rengi ve ölçüleri verilmiştir

This study is based on 29 insectivore specimens which belong to 3 genus obtained from Kastamonu province during summer 1992 and 1993. It is determined that Erinaceus concolor, Crocidura suaveolens, Crocidura leucodon and Talpa europaea live in the study area. Diagnostic characters, habitat, fur colour and measurements of the species are given.
